Jesus Christ of Nazareth is real.
He really was born in the Judean village of Bethlehem more than 2000 years ago.
He grew to adulthood, started a preaching and healing ministry, gathered disciples and followers and offended the religious leaders of his country – who arrested him and turned him over to the occupying Roman empire, demanding his execution.
Rome publicly tortured and executed him.
Three days later, the tomb in which he had been buried and which had been sealed and guarded by Roman soldiers was found empty. Reports began to leak out that he had been seen alive by first one of his followers, then two, then ten, and in one report by over 500 at once.
